Yes, it was fortunate for us that SS pulled the plug before things got ugly. But it would be interesting to know how it suddenly got to this position when only a couple of days ago it was all sweetness and light!

I'm seeing mistakes, sloppiness and errors all over the P2P world and then companies enter denial mode in the Q&A forums.
SS goes up in my estimation by so quickly dealing with this and paying us interest as well.
For me this increases my confidence in SS as others are making mistakes and not correcting them

What is important is how the company fixes those errors and IMO SS has handled this well. On the other hand if this sort of thing keeps happening then that's when it will be more of a problem.

hoy, iwillwalk, jackpease - do you get all the other emails that come from SS (new loans live, deposits, loan parts for sale, bought, updates)? It wouldn't be that you are afflicted by the plusnet email address problems that others have would it? I got the email, and do get all the others too.

Since having sporadic email receiving problems (some received some not, some miraculously re-starting, others suddenly stopping again) since January I have recently discovered that some emails from SS had gained an increased spam score and were automatically being wiped off my email server before even being sent to my account (where lower spam scored emails may arrive but be deleted at that point or some 'junked'). I somewhat reluctantly increased my spam score setting a bit and am happy to report that all SS emails now seem to get through, although I have had a very slight increase in the amount of junk mail too (but nothing too drastic). I shall keep the situation under review as I haven't a clue why the spam score for some SS emails increased but it seems it can also decrease!

I now don't seem to get notifications of new loans but I get the text alerts so no big deal. Over the past few weeks I have received emails for Deposit Confirmations / Responses to Email Queries / Withdrawal Requests / Loan Part Funding / Loan Parts put up for Sale / Withdrawal Confirmation. But I haven't had a Weekly Update email since March. I do use Plusnet as my ISP (hopefully not for much longer since my broadband has been down for nearly 5 days and they seem to be doing sod all about it - Customer Services are USELESS!!) but my email account is a paid for Yahoo one.
