I know that Flakey Computers software apparently respects weekends but not bank holidays - hence we don't have auctions at weekends but we do on Bank Holidays. I was puzzled, however, to see a fresh auction 13049 apparently launched during the Bank Holiday, although it's number is out of sequence. I wonder what happened?

I expect it was a whole loan nobody bit at, so it went (maybe quite automagically) to auction. As someone said, it closed early with some high rates in, turned into a loan, now up for sale at quite reasonable rates for a C.
