With the recent very quick uptake of loans, I'm surprised to see over 450K still left for funding days after going live. Do you think its the PBL 35 people don't like or are we all finally maxed out?

It will be underwriter funding made available on the normal market I suspect, SS releases it in blocks once the original non-underwritten tranche is filled (which I think it was). Happens quite often with large loans. Its a way of ensuring the loan gets away, controlling demand & allowing latecomers a chance, plus freeing up UW for the next loan. The loan is fully funded based on todays update

Your probably right. But whether underwriting or not, its still taking its time to get taken up like the others. Can't remember Which off the top of my head but a recent 500K one went in around 6 min.

The 500k would be taken out by regular investors, those looking to diversify by selling down existing or maturing holdings (which would be sold quickly as loan launches always attract money searching diversification ops) and, depending on timing, surplus cash from recent repayments. The first 500k, million of this loan went pretty quick but then it needs to go deeper into the lender pool to fill & deeper into pockets. Its following much the same pattern of other big loans, a quick fill to about 50%, steady fill thereafter, then a slow fill if extra chunks are released by UW as its lost its momentum. PBL27 & 25 did much the same IiRC

The only you can see is, whether the loan is withdrawn or not. But you cannot see, if the available part is still unfunded, partially unfunded or if that are already amounts in resale. So there's no need for speculation.

So there's no need for speculation. As a one off snapshot no but overtime you can see the loan ebbing & flowing. For instance, today the amount avaliable is 470k & thats despite 150k being picked up today. The original point was that the loan was not filling which isnt the case, it just gives that perception as funds are being released back onto the market by UW or resale & therefore drawdown wont be influenced by lack of funds.
