It looks this is the thread where we ask for new features... quite hard to find. fundingsecure I can see you're using jQuery datatables for table display 1. Can you please enable feature for search to take regular expressions instead of only plain text? This should be a one liner : datatables.net/examples/api/regex.html2. Optionally can you also enable the per column search (with edit boxes underneath each column) biggles / SteveT / mods - can you change the title of this thread to be 'New Features Requests' so it is obvious and quickly appears in searches?

I have changed the thread title to "Website Suggestions", which broadly matches similar threads on other boards (eg. MT, AC)

fundingsecure, now that parts in the same loan (bought separately) no longer aggregate into a single holding in "My Current Investments", can we please have a simple way to see our total current holding in the loan? I guess possibilities include: a) Display a single "sub-total" entry in the "My Current Investments" list plus a toggle button to reveal the underlying loan parts b) Add a column to the "My Current Investments" list to show "Total Holding" alongside "Your Investment" c) [Not ideal] On the "Loan Overview" page, ensure that our own total holding is displayed at the top of the "Investors" list There may well be other ways! Thanks.

I like the new icons showing bonus, cashback, my investment. But can all of them have different colors? ATM they are all the same color green and I need to look closer whether I've invested in a loan or is it cashback or bonus.
Also while at it why not make them align horizontally rather than vertically?

When I click available investments how can I sort them in date order. For example today just now I wanted to see the two or three new investments that became available at 11:00, but they seemed to be scattered through the list of 13.
So can I order the list in terms of most recent first?

Another vote for this - a start date column would be extremely useful.

fundingsecure, a minor tweak but could you please change the formatting of the "Active" date field in "Active & Past Loans" to match all of the other date fields on the site (ie. displaying day/month/year, rather than year/month/day as currently)? Thanks

fundingsecure - why not have a setting for each user for their tax band in 'my account', then build this into the Effective Rate (p.a.) calculation on the secondary market buyer's table?

FS, how would you entice lenders to participate in renewals while you do not provide updates. Say tomorrow's loan - The Plymouth Hotel (2918585401).
Half a year ago lenders were told "all indications suggest that the application will be approved". Tomorrow the loan will be put for renewal with no updates for half a year. Currently you are struggling to fill the loans. It is in also in your interest to provide updates. If information was provided, and it was positive, I might have already transferred fund and participate. Being kept in the dark and being concentrated in generating new loans only is not very healthy for the platform and for the lenders, and of course funds will flow elsewhere.

FS, stubbornness won't help you fill the auctions. Just to prove the points in my post above - today you have posted an update on another renewal Loan Ref: 8584677163 - Flats in Bradford-on-Avon - Renewal, trying to entice lenders with some positive news. Someone thought the update would help fill the loan quicker. But you are not doing it on every loan,as a duty owed to lenders, only when time presses you. I would say that's not clever by any standard.

For anyone who hasn't already noticed, fundingsecure haven't responded to my request for an update for the boat loan renewal that also happened yesterday. In that case it looks as if about half of the existing investors opted to roll their investment forward and there's been little additional investment since.

Plymouth renewal will be dragging for ages. Only 111k out of 475k filled so far. It started from around 90k, which means that £385k does not wish to renew. But FS is rushing, throwing in 3 new loans tomorrow, making the total to 15 available, all of them filling very slowly. What's the point? That on top of so many other possible renewals. So how long will this keep going on, who's paying the double interest on the renewals?

Responding to the comment on the Plymouth Hotel, we added the following comment on the loan: "A planning application has been submitted to demolish the building and build 12 homes. A pre-application was made and all reports requested from that process have been submitted including a bat and traffic survey."
Compared to the prior loan posting, this clarifies that the planning application has now been submitted and that all requests from the pre-app have been complied with.
Submitting planning applications is not a straightforward process. In this particular case, the application could not be submitted until a bat survey had been conducted, despite the willingness of the borrower to pay for any bat boxes if bats were detected. Bat surveys can only be performed at certain times of the year, (we believe it can only happen in June). Needless to say, no bats were detected and the borrower incurred significant costs as a result.

A few questions following your answer.
1. Do you acknowledge the need of proper updates, and do you agree to provide updates on all renewals?
2. Will you answer my question who pays the double interest during the renewal auction? If it is the borrower, this extra financial burden may push the loan towards default.
3. As to the Plymouth hotel loan, don't you think that a separate update but not a short text inserted in the middle of the original loan description, might have nudge more lenders to keep their original stake? Needless to say that the explanation given above is much more detailed than the inserted text. What made you think you should be so laconic with lenders?
