Hi - According to the affiliate reward.....
"When someone you refer funds their first loan, we will instantly credit 1% of the amount they fund to your balance"
Someone I have referred has signed up and funded a loan, is the credit instant as suggested or have others had to wait?

I has to wait........and then chase SS.............and then wait some more..........
As with most SS issues, patience and a gentle nudge usually do the trick.

I waited a day or two after the referred member invested and then emailed SS. They then paid the affiliate reward within a couple of hours.

An affiliate program should work automatically and not require to mail in to claim any commissions.

An affiliate program should work automatically and not require to mail in to claim any commissions. Yes, I used to run a website and sometimes would put up affiliate banners as a way of covering the costs. Most affiliate schemes, like Amazon, have control panels so you can log in and see how many clicks and signs ups you've had and therefore how much commission you've earned, and it gets paid automatically. With the SS affiliates link you wouldn't have a clue if anybody had joined SS and invested through your link? So if they are not paying the commission automatically the affiliate offer would seem to be useless because how could you claim if you didn't know if any sign ups had resulted and how much those people had invested.

Affiliate rewards are not processed automatically as this was being abused, you need to email them and reward is checked and then processed.

Wait what? How can the affiliate reward be abused? Not sure I understand.
Also, if I have to nudge, how do I know when to nudge? I shared the affiliate link with couple of my friends, but I feel it would be too annoying from me if I go around asking them if they have signed up already and how much they have invested.
