Hi, joined the forum a few days ago and joined ABLRATE.
Have read the FAQ & watched videos, so am pretty OK re secondary market but a little confused on New.
There are 2 items currently listed which have no invest button. I assume the container one is fully suscribed and both say pending.
If the ATR one did have an invest opportunity, I assume it Would remain earning as an INSTANT RETURN until completion or withdrawal?
Apologies for having to ask as soon as I join.
Cheers
ALAN

Welcome on board. The containers were fully subscribed in a couple of hours and the ATR is a loan that was carried over from the old platform and so currently closed to investments awaiting drawdown. I imagine there may be opportunities to buy into in later via the SM, assuming underwriters wish to reduce their holdings.

If you clock on New Loans there are currently two showing but both have been fully subscribed and are just waiting for the borrowers to complete their final agreements and signings. Once that happens some of each might show up in the secondary market. If you click on secondary market there are six previous loans that can have buy/sell offers and three of them do have parts currently offered for sale, though not necessarily at attractive prices. You can look at the "best offer" column to quickly check which do have offers to sell. You can also enter your own bid to see whether someone wants to sell at your price. Ablrate is just now getting the loan pipeline running again after work on getting their new platform set up so a little patience with the primary market while they do that is needed. Should be running more smoothly with a regular new deal flow in a little while. If you have any suggestions on how to make things easier or what you'd like to see please do let them know. they seem to be quite interested in and responsive to feedback, though of course don't always agree, since they have their own vision for their platform. In those cases you can hope for them to explain why they disagree and maybe see whether you can shoot holes in their view and persuade them to adjust their thinking.

Hello Alan and welcome Apologies for the delay responding but it is a bit manic at the moment and I've just got round to checking in. Yes indeed - the two loans still listed in New Loans are not available for investment at the moment. The containers are fully subscribed and the aircraft is just pending a couple of things. However, as you saw, the aircraft is still paying interest pending drawdown. We have about four more loans ready to go at the moment so these should start filtering down pretty soon (lining up legal ducks etc).

Welcome Alan
We are just completing the paperwork on a £250,000 capital equipment loan, so should be able to launch it in the next couple of days. We will be emailing everyone.
We also have a number of aircraft loans with underwriters too, so hopefully they will be appearing soon also.
Regards Ablrate

Thanks for the welcome guys (&gals)
When there is an IR what happens if the loan doesn't proceed, who is responsible for the interest?
Thanks

Dashboard - Active Bids and Offers - then on the left hand side you can view Active Secondary Bids and Offers.

If you ask how to cancel a bid or offer everyone will assume that you made a mistake and stampede to the secondary market
