New line-up: Dragon's Den new panel of business entrepreneurs including Sarah Willingham, Touker Suleyman, Deborah Meaden, Nick Jenkins and Peter Jones.
He's not a panelist; perhaps he wants a few quid?

His responses to the questions asked on this forum have been prickly so it wouldn't surprise me if he was disrespectful on the DD.

Now now ... you've already made your opinions of THC (and the people behind it) clear enough. As you're clearly not an investor, and never will be, move along now, wave that red flag elsewhere Will be interested to see what the pitch is for (I don't normally watch Dragon's Den, but I'm intrigued now!)

I have followed the progress of this enterprise for a while. Not been convinced enough in their 'story' to invest in such a high risk play on property.
This terrible dragons den pitch and over optimistic valuation has done them no favours at all.

Interestingly on their blog they claim the BBC invited them, which if true might I suppose explain why he didn't seem particularly committed to the "option" and I guess they figured no publicity is bad publicity Well I won't be rushing to find out any more about their impending share offer anyway, as the £20M valuation makes no sense to me, and it's not going to change my mind about increasing my investment with them.

Just watched it... yikes! Not sure he's done himself or THC any favours I think this Dragons Den episode is going to be a blessing for anyone who's invested in the House Crowd because it's a unique chance to see where your money is going. I'm not here to bash the guy but his business approach and acumen should be noted. You are placing your hard earned money into the hands of someone who looks like he's flying by the seat of his pants without a plan in place. Plus no profit made in 3 years. A company is only as strong as the people in charge. I wouldn't invest my enemies money into THC.

Excerpt form msn:
“I am just looking forward to seeing the look on Deborah’s face today when she hears what I am asking for.”
This was the opener from Frazer Fearnhead, who wanted £1 million for 5% of his crowdfunding property business. None of the dragons were impressed.
“Thanks for explaining that there are risks in investments – I get that.”
Deborah Meaden said this sarcastically to Frazer after he said to her in a pretty patronising way that he tells potential investors about the risk. Oops.
“From a reputational point of view, it is an absolute no.”
Nick Jenkins to Frazer, who wasn’t the only dragon to disapprove of the idea, or his attitude
Ouch!! And I was thinking of investing a bit more with them. Second thoughts maybe....

Understatement. When being torn a new one, you need a word beyond "ouch". Comment from a news site reviewing the programme: Were THC invited on as cannon-fodder for a good series opener? That worked out really well for the BBC then

Didnt stop the Trunki & the detangling comb thing from being massive successes, plus plenty other I dont remember, despite being shredded.

I agree with you that the shows success rate is mixed - after all it is an entertainment show not an investment fund. But my confidence in THC went down significantly. I am much more likely to test the (high fee) secondary market than invest more money.
