Sorry if this has been covered before or I'm being stupid (I'm not brilliant with smart phones and technology in general).
I decided to try logging in to my SS account on my smart phone - running Android 4.2. But it keeps coming up 'invalid log in'.
I reset my password through my desktop PC and tried again and it still comes up as invalid details on my phone but it logs me in with no problems on my desktop PC using the same email/password combination.
Any ideas? Thanks!

Have you got "Accept cookies" turned on? I can't log in from my Android 'phone with that turned off.

Have you got "Accept cookies" turned on? I can't log in from my Android 'phone with that turned off. Many thanks for your suggestion. I just checked my settings, and Accept Cookies was enabled. It still won't log me in. I tried doing a password reset using my phone and it accepted my email address and sent me the link to do it , and I did the password re-set on the phone - but it still won't let me log in on the phone. I went to my PC and it logs me in straight away with the new password. It's weird. I don't have problems logging into other websites on my Android phone - SS is the first time I've come across this problem. I was wondering if it was a known issue and others have it but it seems probably not. I'll scratch my head a bit longer - and might drop SS an email about it if I can't find a solution, in case they know anything. EDIT - Now I can't log in on my PC either. Can't log in to my account at all. Perhaps too many password changes or some other security thing I've triggered. I've emailed SS about it.

No, I'm back in. Sorry I didn't update this.
I tried another password re-set after I'd posted and after that I was able to log back in again on my desktop PC.
However I still can't log in using my phone.
I emailed SS about the problems I had experienced - and in particular to ask if they were aware of any issues affecting logging to the website from my type of phone / Android. That was on Tuesday evening but I haven't had a reply.

This works for me on my android phone..
Use firefox browser.. from app store.
and in the firefox browsers settings I tick the request desktop site.
logs on with no problems. (login and account links show up at the extreme bottom of the page)

Just tried on my phone and no problems at all, using a Samsung S4 with a Chrome browser running Android V 5.01

Thanks, I will try using a different browser tomorrow. I haven't got Firefox or Chrome on my phone. It's a bit old and low spec but I can download apps from the play store, I've been using the default 'browser' that was already installed on the phone.

Everything is fine now, thank you very much.
I downloaded Chrome to my phone and was able to log in to SS on my phone using Chrome without any problems. I havn't got Firefox on it but I'm sure that would be fine too.
So it was all to do with the default browser installed on my phone, - no idea why it didn't like SS as I was using it on other websites, but all sorted out now.
Many thanks for the help and suggestions.
