I must admit it is nice to see AH setting a few records straight regarding some of the defaulted loans. This at least gives us a chance to assess where we stand with recovery and in what time scale.

IMO house cleaning / keeping should also be about managing / monitoring loans before problems arise and keeping lenders informed.
So how did the North London Commercial Property Loan slip under the radar and continue to be tradeable after the Leeds problem became public knowledge Mr Holgate?

The various threads concerning AC's ongoing administration of loans this year have thrown up more and more criticism. Whether or not parts of this are justified, answers and actions are the "shop window" for active investors, and their perception of AC's trustworthiness is what needs to be more positive than I think it is currently. Does AC consider itself to be one of the market leaders, still? (I hope so) There seems to me to be a more positive attitude towards some other sites which are basically mere pawnbroker's sidekicks, and some loss is expected, than AC which is business based and on another level in magnitude, thus requiring more trust and reliability for higher stakes (not necessarily at higher rates of return). edit: Hi yorkshireman !! Sun shining up north then? Lovely down here!! Get that rhubarb growing!!

edit: Hi yorkshireman !! Sun shining up north then? Lovely down here!! Get that rhubarb growing!! Do you not know rhubarb needs darkness to be at it's most productive, all this horrible sunshine must be ruining the crop! I think you've spent too much time with the Sprout family.

pepperpotGrumps cetainly enjoys his sprouts - and the weather's bit cooler when they're in season PS They grow outdoor rhubarb in his lordship's county too, not just in his garden shed. Don't know how the summer crop gets on in over hot conditions. Over to the Boycott worshipper.

I generally cover my rhubarb in horse manure.
But my next door neighbour reckons it's much better with custard.

Sun shining up north then? Lovely down here!! Get that rhubarb growing!! Beautiful day up here OG, a pleasant 22 C Afraid I can’t comment about the rhubarb though as I’m not an expert, although you might think otherwise from some of my comments. The last part of that sentence shows that we Tykes have a sense of modesty and humility unless we’re talking about cricket of course. Speaking of which, England have had to call up 1 honorary and 3 native Tykes in order to have any chance against those colonial types that wear those funny green caps. Unfortunately the powers that be saw fit to have no Ashes test matches north of Nottingham, not even in that place across the Pennines where it always rains.
