Full recovery on Boodles necklace pending receipt of auction funds That's good news. The note on the loan page doesn't indicate how long it might be before the proceeds are received or whether interest continues to accrue. I was involved in one loan that went to auction and the buyer had three weeks afterwards to pay while interest stopped accruing to lenders from the date of the auction. That made a significant dent in the return from that loan, but I still was pleased that the auction was successful so couldn't complain.

I'm new to FS. Is there any easy way to see what loans have defaulted? Go to past loans under investment menu, change to display 100 loans in list, click on defaulted column until it shows an entry. Entries will be in this order Unreedemed - recovery process begun Recovered - full recovery from asset sale Defaulted - partial recovery (unless FS dipped into pocket) Click on individual loan to read specifics When I looked there were 59. A mixture of cars, jewelry art etc but no properties.

I hope FS make up any shortfall on loan 2930007099. It could have been sold to the motor-trader weeks ago. If the price of fuel rises this will be a dodo.

South Wales Property (1442701959) had an Expected End Date of 6/Feb. On 19/Feb, FS said that they had granted the borrower a 30-day extension. Have fundingsecure ever indicated when the 30 days started? If it was 6/Feb, then the new end date would be tomorrow. If it was 19/Feb then the borrower still has another couple of weeks. Also, the rationale for this loan was "The funds will be used to continue to refurbish and renovate the hotel, leisure centre and garden rooms, increasing both the value and the income." I don't suppose anyone other than FS -- and possibly not even them -- have any idea whether the work has been done.

There are no comments on that loan at the moment, but I suppose that's not surprising considering it isn't due until tomorrow.

I reckon in a week or so you may be able to add boatymcboatface to the list as well , the slippery fish in the Scottish boatyard. No idea what I'm smiling about ...he owes me a lot of Scottish pound notes. Edit... you can this one to the defaulted list now.

South Wales property
I note the update re the 1st loan (delay in payment but it is expected by the end of this week). No update for 2nd loan. I assume this borrower intends to repay 1st loan by the end of the week as per the update and, as there is no update for the 2nd loan, should we assume that the update on 13/05 still applies. Specifically that there will be repayment on 16th or 17th of this month!!!!!!
Makes me wonder if this borrower is a relative of Boaty McBoatface.

I think with these its a case of keeping finger and toes firmly crossed. The recent reviews of the hotel are uniformly dire - essentially all caused by hopelessly inadequate levels of staffing.
