Still "Vorsprung durch Technik" is looking pretty sick at the moment. Fortunately not everything in life is as poisonous as a Volkeswagen! (allegedly) Lance Armstrong is rumoured to be appealing his ban. Apparently all the illegal chemicals in his body came from years riding amidst Skodas!

How many people here actually rush out and buy something they have seen an advert for? I can never see how tv advertising can be value for money as everyone just goes to put the kettle on or do something else

I can never see how tv advertising can be value for money as everyone just goes to put the kettle on or do something else There are 2 reasons for TV advertising 1 Launch of a new everyday product eg food, personal hygiene etc 2 To lodge the company name in memory for future big purchases eg replacement cars, white goods, furniture etc
