Throw enough muck at a wall and some of it will stick springs to mind.

Or is it just "Never mind the quality, feel the width"? One could use that as a seed for a rather blue joke involving oldgrumpy a few decades ago, but it's too far beneath me to even mention.

Let's be positive. 100 loans listed is good. With rates going up and lender cash still short, and HMG cash running out - time for some advertising or better a cashback promotion, please.

If so, what changed and when were lenders notified?

Nothings changed, it's over £150k that needs security. Doesn't stop people applying for multiple £100k loans though, a few months apart.

If you want decent security then FC is probably not the best platform. People set up limited companies to protect themselves from liabilities if it fails, so a personal director guarantee works against that and people will wish to avoid paying. Add to that the problem that P2P seeks to remove the middle man and his margin for risk. So there is neither the money nor the incentive for FCRL to behave as if it was their money in default. At least we can try to judge the strength of the business and the viability of the plans for the cash, and then see if we like the interest rate and can decide for how long we dare hold the loan.

There does seem to be a flood of small loans to some nearly profit and asset free companies on offer. It has always been a bit time consuming to operate an FC account, and this just makes it more tedious. I've taken to disregarding any loan under 30k. There are 3 larger loans to more substantial companies on FK at the moment which are worth a look.

Agreed and the small loans are still funded to MBR by Autobidders. So for decent rates they are not worth evaluating, except to buy the odd C- to keep for a few months. Fortunately I have the time available to manage an FC account.
