A 2 parter...
1 Whilst I appreciate some projects are more popular than others, could someone give me some indication as to how long on average each project takes to get fully funded?
2 If I invest in a project, another payday comes around and it's still not fully funded, and I decide to invest again... How will this display? 1 investment with the total of the two amounts shown. Or would it show as 2 separate investments? I'm thinking the latter especially if one has an early bird bonus and the other(s) don't?
Thanks

Hi,
1. It largely depends on the size of the project, as well as the popularity of a particular project, the number of projects currently open for investment and the time of year (summer being a bit quieter). Most projects have an offer period of 3 months with the option to extend. Very broadly speaking, about £500,000 is raised in the first month of a project, and the investment raised will generally slow down the longer a project is open.
2. If you invest multiple times in a single offer, your overall view will show it as one investment for the total amount, but you will be able to see the breakdown if the investments are different in some way - i.e one chunk of investment has a bonus and the others don't. This is important if you come to sell all or a proportion of your investment as you may want to ask for a higher price for the part of your investment that has a bonus.
Hope that helps!
Tom
