Yes. I meant new money waiting for new loans. Unfortunately I got the range brackets wrong (again!). We have some serious investors among our numbers. I suspect it would be straining peoples' patience to have a 3rd poll, allowing for much larger amounts.

I can't recall where (old threads probably) but I read if you invest over a certain amount (think it was 100K) you can become an underwriter, so people with that liquid funds could be better off being underwriters?

One advantage of being an underwriter, I guess, is you can exit the loan when it's relatively new thus less risk of default on that one? I can't find the thread either, perhaps I was mistaken or maybe savingstream can comment. Alternatively you can always try to email them. Sorry can't be of more help. |

Given the excess of demand over supply, I really can't imagine there'd be much call for any underwriting - unless a loan rocks up that everybody decides to avoid like the plague for some reason - and would you WANT to be in on that heavily?
