As in the title, still not getting updates. I have been in communication with SS and that comes through fine, but no updates from the same address? Also not able to receive text notifications of live loans due to overseas number. Not very satisfactory to be honest. Anybody else in the same boat?
I did however get an email this morning telling me funds were received, so why no updates and why can't we have loan notifications by email as well as text? An email buzzes my phone just as effectively as a text. As it is I am reduced to checking the site every couple of hours which is far from ideal.

Well, I guess they are right! It is most odd though. Anyway, with no updates and no live loan notification text, I feel I am playing with one hand behind my back here, so to speak.
Anyone got any theories on what's happening with the missing update mails? I don't recall ever having had a problem with missing mails other than those that went in the spam folder, and they are not there either.

Yep, I still don't get the update emails despite receiving the other stuff. I did test emails with them, which worked. Sadly, from the text of their test email SS regard not receiving update emails as "our" problem. It is possible SS are correct as it sounds like an overzealous spam filter to me.

I don't think it's that simple. I regularly receive what I think are "automated" emails, e.g. deposits, withdrawals, payments into bank accounts; but I NEVER receive any "updates" of any kind, nor any responses to emails sent via their "Contact" process. On the bright side I do receive texts re loan launches (U.K. number).

There's been a long-standing problem with plusnet hosted email accounts ( see here) which is one possibility. They do send out emails when new loans go live (well, a bit later actually, so not always that useful ). Looks like people not getting them are the ones not getting the updates, which isn't a surprise since it is the 'mail list' type emails that look to be getting filtered out rather than the ones actually targeted to a specific address.

They do send loan email notifications, though their appearance is somewhat tardy compared to texts. Guess you're not getting those eîther. Probably need to set up a new loans thread where helpful types could post when loans go live, if you bookmarked it you would then get an email notification from forums, assuming you get those. At the moment, everyone just creates a new thread for each loan. Not ideal but better than nothing Edit crossed with Rose there, due to my internet currently being rubbish, thatll be Plusnet then, fortunately email is Gmail

I don't have anything to do with plusnet, so I don't think that can be the explanation in my case. It's not even a furrin email address, it's yahoo.co.uk. New loan thread? That's an idea. Yup, I do get the thread update mails.

As a noob on SS how does one set up loan updates by email? I can see that I can get a new loan notification by SMS on the "My Details" page.

You should get them automatically as for loan sales/ purchases/ deposits/ withdrawals. I think there might be an 'unsubscribe' on those somewhere, but presume you wouldn't do that . in edit: I've had sporadic problems with all SS automated type emails at times this year, and after whitelisting and goodness knows what, I eventually managed to find out that the spam score for some had increased, so reluctantly weakened my filters; result now get all SS emails and very minor amounts of extra junk - but it's worth it .

I was failing to receive Saving Stream bulk emails with my Yahoo.co.uk email address. I set up an email address with zoho.com and asked Saving Stream to move my account to that new address. I now get the bulk emails.

Yahoo (and, when Y! ran it, BT's own mail) are notorious for being massively over-eager with their spam filtering. Only Hotmail are worse, ime, at binning perfectly legitimate mail without telling either sender or recipient. This is stuff that doesn't even make it through to the spam folder of individual mailboxes - it gets binned at a higher level than that.

I'm not receiving the update emails. I am overseas, using a Hover Mail account. I used to receive the weekly updates sporadically, but haven't had one in a few months. I've checked my Spam, and they are nowhere to be seen.
