I have a lending contract for 1020 pounds duplicated today so my account now has an extra 1020 pounds in it! looking at the orders there are two contracts for identical values 1020.70 formed at the same time. I've emailed ratesetter but it still shows up on my account. Bit worrying as there is more money on loan than is actually available. anyone else experienced this?

It wouldn't be the first time that RS has had a glitch. Can you give more explanation of what has happened as it is difficult to understand from what you have written. Perhaps a screenshot?

It was a reinvestment in the 1 month market. a 1020.70 pound loan was paid pack and the money went on the market it was matched twice at the same time probably some sort of race condition glitch. i now have 2*1020.70 loans in the loan book. C52492201**** 14/08/2015

That is weird and should not have happened. Please let us know what RS say about this and ask them to explain how it has happened in the first place. Welcome to the forum BTW.

I've taken a look and spoken to the Head of Customer Services, and this does indeed appear to be a "glitch". The second contract C52492234**** was not actually allocated to a loan and therefore will not receive a payment or interest. C52492201**** has been allocated as normal. An IT change log has been request to investigate this "ghost contract", which although needs to be investigated and understood should have no impact on the lender other than unrequested confusion.... @ westonkevRS

scmgre,
Best not to post your personnel RS financial details. I would suggest you remove the specific amounts.
