Wife trying to set up this facility but gets the following message which is strange given she has transferred cash on at least two occasions.
"Account not setup yet
You haven't made any withdrawals yet.
Before you can set up the Auto Withdraw function you need to make at least one successful standard withdrawal.
This is to ensure that the bank details are correct and that we are able to send funds there."

I had the same problem, emailed RS and was given the response "It looks like we had a restriction on your account erroneously, which was preventing Auto Withdrawals being setup. I have removed this so feel free to set one up now." Works fine now, I'm glad to say.

There are multiple ways of making payments into the system, and not all of them we sure we have a validated bank account that is 100% sure to be owned by the account holder. There are very stringent AML and fraud checks around withdrawels, which I'm sure you can appreciate. If you DM me her email for the account I'll have a look and confirm for you the exact reason. @ westonkevRS.

I've taken a look, and to be honest everything worked exactly as I'd hope. The process worked perfectly, IMHO. Dare I say the thread title is a little mean. A new bank account had been added for the withdrawal process that was different to the original one the account had been opened with. Obviously if money is attempted to be withdrawn into a new different bank account you would expect some checks to be performed. I won't go into details of why or how, but this required a manual review that occurred the next day and the funds were released just 1 day later then originally expected. @ westonkevRS

Nope still not working. Same message:

Before you can set up the Auto Withdraw function you need to make at least one successful standard withdrawal.
This is to ensure that the bank details are correct and that we are able to send funds there.

I suggest you contact RS Customer Services, as the account I looked at (either yours or your wife) has been fixed. Perhaps they didn't realise you were having issues on both.
But to confirm, the issue is because a new bank account was added, and hence the delays. The new banks didn't "pass" our automated ID checks for AML and fraud
Kevin.

Will do. It's the wifes and like I said it won't allow the set up. Thanks for input.
Edit: just tried with IE instead of opera and still same message so not cache issue.
