Is anyone else having any problems viewing loan parts for sale? I can't use any of the filters or look at any of the parts listed. When I click on a part, it takes me to the loan bid page.

If it's the same for everyone, then no one will be able to sell or buy anything other than through autobid (unless that's broken too)

Yeah it's broken, although if you select 'show all parts' instead of 'group by loan' you'll then have a buy button, which may, or may not, work. The links on the latter version of the page SHOULD go to the original auction page. The ones on the 'group by loan' should open a new query page with all the loan parts (for that loan) listed... but hey, this is Flippin Curious, so links are wrong. 8>.

Yeap - even the buy button when you try to select parts under "show all parts" view doesn't work. So I guess I won't rebalance my portfolio tonight. I just hope FC haven't themselves gone bust.......now that would cause a bit of indigestion.

Oh dear me. I guess they must be using the same server hardware as Saving Stream (most likely the ZX81 that YesSecure sold on eBay )........

I don't think we can pin this on their hardware, someone has definitely fiddled with the HTML page structure at some point today .. done everything you can imagine except TESTING it.

I'm getting a sense of deja vue about this fault. Haven't we seen it on more than one occasion before?

Still broken at midnight. I've put a couple of parts up for sale and they have appeared in the on sale list so it looks like only the loan parts page is affected. They'll be Fixing Computers in the morning I guess. John

Yes, but will they fess up that they broke it, and will they put something in place to stop it happening again. Even someone reading the forum(s) at night, with Mr Fixits phone number, would be a step up. Or give me Mr Fixits phone number and I'll call them myself. Or just don't make changes at 5:30pm and then go home?!
p.s. Seems like something you could monitor automagically - 'If non-par loan part sales in last hour < threshold, and not Xmas day, ring ambulance'. Similar check for Par sales might detect autobodge jammed up again.

Just in case you haven't seen it:-
"20/08/2015 We are aware of an issue relating to the Loan Parts page. We are investigating this and will update investors as soon as we have any further information".

Just logged on for the first time today and happy to see a big banner apologising for the failure of the loan parts page.
I'd be somewhat happier if I could be assured that their IT monitoring dept (single desk next to the table tennis table) was manned 24hrs a day rather than 8 and then winging it with fingers crossed for the remaining 16 hours each day.

Seeing it is not the problem. Loan parts has no discernable sort order and new items just appear somewhere in the list

? Not sure what you mean by that .. afaik you can sort it (when it works) on a whole raft of different things (using the 'sort by' drop down) plus a few they don't tell you about like 'id', which will actually show you the newest listed parts at the top of the list (to get that you need to type the url+query string into your browser address bar .. documentation on such has been posted long ago).
