So I was watching one of the regional finals tonight on iPlayer when I heard Prue Leith say "showing the customers one thing and then giving them something else is fun". Then I thought about that comment from the perspective of members of this forum. And laughed  . |

Whilst visitting South of France a few years ago, we decided to have lunch at small cafe and whilst looking around noticed a blackboard with "Plat du Jour". I can't remember exactly what it was but it was a pork fillet cooked in a sauce with veg etc.
After ordering deux pdj, a long wait and several alcoholic drinks......our 2 giant bowls of mussels and french fries finally arrived! We looked at each other in amazement. After many minutes of laughter, both thought the same....Le Basil Fawlty. We enjoyed our unexpected meal, but still wonder WHY!!!!!!
On another note the media including the BBC have been banging on about the obesity problem here, so what do the BBC do to combat this health issue.................................The Great British Bake Off
