As requested... I too think total net worth (as opposed to invest-able worth) is the better benchmark, so this includes everything from the family jewels to the family dog. It would be useful if you vote in this poll, to vote in the other one too. A similar number of voters might give an indication of how 'confident' the weight of money in that poll is. Edit; a bit more definition, House value minus mortgage i.e. amount of positive equity (or negative if your unlucky) is included. Annuities that are purchased and are now income should not be included as that is completely tied up. So basically what would be left to your next of kin (or cat home) from your estate if you kicked the bucket tomorrow.

I fall into the 11 to 20 band but of the cash savings I have it is about 60 % and growing so it feels a lot more than that.

Currently I'm saving money towards my next home (big jump in cost in London). I have around 60% of investable money in P2P/B.
After utilising 'high' interest current accounts the main options are minimal interest (but safe) accounts or equities.
I put some pension money away each month in to the VLS 100 acc fund but with regard to the house deposit currently feel I have more chance of losing money in equities than P2P over the 3 year timescale planned.
