Last night I sold out 6 part loans. Two have been sold and the monies appear in my account. The other four loans are shown in my account as being put up for sale BUT none of them appear as available to invest in on the main loans available page. Anyone else experience this situation?.....and if so how did you get it resolved?...Thanks.

I suspect an email to SS would fix it.
it is always nice to mention what and when on here too as other forum members may be able to get a piece!

i have a similar problem. It seems to be related to loans that have a negative balance, in my case 25, 27,33,35,43,45 and 54. I will be sending an e-mail to ss this morning.

I just put up two parts, 4b and 28. They are not showing as for sale yet, and they certainly haven't actually been sold. It'll probably resolve soon after the office opens. (edit: these are not oversubscribed loans)
PS Something's alive cos now there's action on 20.

jimc99 you should be able to see the stuck loan parts listed as unsold or partly sold in the dashboard 'selling/sold loan parts' tab. This listing also shows the loan part number which helps Saving Stream unjam it for you. oldgrumpy unfortunately the oversubscription problem becomes invisible when Fred sells a loan that was oversubscribed. Others can only buy the amount that was not oversubscribed, leaving Fred unable to sell his loan part. The loan now shows as 0% available, hiding the problem. When unsuspecting Oldgrumpy sells part of the loan, Fred finally gets his part sold and Oldgrumpy gets a stuck loan part. I reduce the problem in two ways: 1) When selling some of a loan, I split the sale into several separate parts, selling small parts last. That way it is only the small parts that get stuck. 2) If I have a large stuck part I can shrink the problem if I own some more of the loan and have some cash. I calculate how much is oversubscribed by looking at the unsold percentages in the dashboard 'selling/sold loan parts' tab. I put this amount up for sale then buy the same amount back. My purchase releases my big stuck loan part, and I am now left holding a stuck loan part that is reduced to the amount of the oversubscription. That is as small as I can get it without writing to Saving Stream.

I have regularly encountered this problem and just email SS as a matter of course. They usually clear it pretty quickly.

Hi
Its a bug in the code somewhere. The new website will solve this problem. Let us know where the mistake is and we will resolve it manually for now.

To stand the best chance of a smooth sale, I tend to sell loan parts only if there is currently 0% available. If there's a negative amount available, I don't sell, since it is likely to get stuck. But as SS have indicated, an email normally sorts it out in any case.

Yeah I take that approach too, but it ain't perfect. 0% might just be hiding an unfixed glitch of unknown proportions.

I usually only sell in £100 single lumps, usually when there is little or nothing already on offer. I just had a small number recently which must have got caught in hidden glitches. I rarely have to wait many minutes before sale occurs.
Does anyone know if, when a lot is for sale, the parts on offer are queued up for sale, or sold on a random basis?

Pretty certain it's a strict queue, except that retail sellers are in front of underwriters (if indeed there are any underwriters any more on SS...)
