It's just not clear at all.
So if you put some money in the account, you start earning interest on the full amount immediately? You have no idea what's been bought with the money or anything?

This is a complete cock-up. Does AC bother to test anything? MLIA has been changed in functionality. The ability to turn manual invest off loan by loan seems to have disappeared. My account has therefore started buying bits of amortizing loans where my target is greater than my holding. That's rubbish. I must confess I also think I have had it suddently start buying loan parts which I had not been expecting it to, particularly amortising ones where I had suspended investment for the same reason. I wondered whether I had changed things when I reset some a few days ago, but it would make no sense for it suddenly to start buying now when it wasn't before unless it was triggered by the changes.

Getting rid of small parts of suspended loans into the QAA is a real perk . Unfortunately I doubt it was intended. Fascinated to see how they fix this one.

Looks like an asda style roll-back is on the cards.
Quite nifty new instructions though for selling or buying (with discounts), just a shame something is buying up dodgy plumbing

What sort of figures, in £££, are we talking in terms of suspended loans being sold here? If it's a few quid here & there, it might mbe manageable but, if it's big amounts (say ippy has £500k on am & £400k were sold) then the brown stuff really has hit the fan!

It's still not worth trying to sort, we have a backup from before the deployment so lenders will lose any changes they made since the site came back up but otherwise everything will be returned to that point.

Ah I see what 'essential maintenance' means now In this case, "essential" is most certainly true ;-) chris had little choice but to roll-back this one (and I for one are grateful: the system inadvertently sold ££K of stuff I did not want to sell yet). The QAA change looked quite interesting for the couple of minutes I was able to have a look.

Well, as a beta test that was actually quite useful & informative ... the suspended loans cockup actually created a mass of transactions and cashflow to demonstrate the power of QAA.
Edit: As I see it there were 2 errors
a) trading in suspended loans wasn't being blocked
b) where lenders had manual targets disabled a buy/sell order shouldn't have been auto generated (or at the very least the new order should have been paused automatically)

Better to rewind rather than fudge where real money is moving around..But it looked interesting.

Does this mean we get "make it so" targets back for now, too, rather than being (seemingly) limited to "buy £0.0005368" instructions?

Thank goodness for backups / database rollbacks.
I look forward to see how marketing phrase the QAA is dead email
