I just received email "The Assetz Capital 'Quick Access Account' is Now Live!" Thunderbird exclaims: "This message may be a scam!" I think I'll give it a go anyway... My Thunderbird passed it as OK.

The "Idle Funds" investment option is very slick! I like that it still shows the idle cash as Awaiting Investment in the source account.

Before P2P, savers put a guinea in a piggy bank, now they smash the banks to become guinea pigs.

I seemed to sold some Iffy and Epic. Wasn't expecting that.

Oh dear, looks like the new system has failed to take into account whether a loan is suspended or manually disabled. My MLIA has sold off big chunks of the plumber!

Looks like a disaster. Sold suspended loans, bought stuff I dont want. This seems worse than the original site launch

...I also note that my MLIA is selling down some suspended loans... Not fair! My MLIA's not sold any. Edit: Now it has!

Having sold my Woody from MLIA (happy) I have now picked some up in my GBBA which is definitely NOT supposed to happen (not happy)

I am in. Seems a neat idea to me and overcomes concerns with keeping uninvested money in AC pretty well , I shall keep a bit more in here. I shall be most interested in how it affects my shrapnel and how it runs.
Very glad to have had a preview on this board of it functionality and as usual these threads are an excellent way of appreciating how to use the AC system.

Oh dear. Cock-up on the selling front? Anyway, I've activated my QAA, and will have to check later that nothing has been sold that I wanted to keep.

The GBBA report now shows 7% interest rate on all purchases - havent had any GEIA but assume the same will be true

so it looks like the QAA is in part acting as ACs bad bank.

Congratulations to Assetz for this original solution for idle funds. It is a most clever solution to have the client money both in their main investment accounts and present in the QAA at the same time. I understand that there is much complexity underlying this simple interface, and I really hope it works. But you have to admit, this is quite a leap of imagination. I'll be adding funds to AC for the first time in a year.

Well, the "auto withdrawal" seems to work. The system just grabbed £2 back from my QAA holding to buy a bit of available shrapnel. Seems I got an extra 0.0000000000000000000000000000000000005571p too as a result. Bargain!!
"9th Sep 2015 at 18:21 Purchase loan part 13198662 (old id 13180468) for 2.0000000000000000000000000000000000005571 GBP - annualised rate 11, loan: West Midlands Export Business Loan (97) £-2.00
9th Sep 2015 at 18:21 Instant withdrawal from Quick Access Account (5) £2.00"

Yep sold the last bits of Ippy + Eppy, and pulled out of QAA 'till I know I'm not going to do any one else a similar favour.
