Can someone please explain to me exactly how this is supposed to work. Yesterday I transferred £25k into QAA (so i was within the first 100k deposited, both on the first attempt and then after the roll back). Now it says I have a direct investment of £25k in the QAA. It does not however show any amount 'awaiting investment' or 'currently invested' as it does on the GBBA or GEIA. When I look at 'Your transactions' I can see my deposit but no other transactions. Does this mean a) my £25k is in the account earning interest straight away or b) I am 100% uninvested and in a queue? There doesn't seem to be any explanation as to how this is working (or if there is I can't find it). Also my 'Total Investment' on the dashboard has decreased by the £25k. Presume this is a known error that will be fixed.

A question about a specific problem. Loan 182: £1626.34 available on SM. I’ve no current holding in this loan, I’ve set my target as £X, more than enough cash awaiting investment in the MLIA to cover this, yet 30 minutes later sweet FA has happened despite my loan book still telling me that I am buying £X

Hi Yes you are fully invested and we will be improving the account indicators shortly to make this clearer. The rest of the IT team will be fine running with matters whilst Chris is away on a well earned break and all of the feedback on this thread is really useful to consider the UI tweaks required to make things clear on the QAA and also tweak the buy/sell orders and discount functionality on the MLIA. The buy/sell changes are for better control of what to do and when and we will look to improve the speed of setting up simple things. It was needed to implement discounts properly.

Finally winkled £20k out of a BS a/c paying 1.6% but QAA now full. Sigh. It's either got to go into an instant a/c with my bank paying 0.5% or Ratesetter or Wellesley on a month's notice.
I wonder whether AC will increase the max or the invested total will drop below £1m when new loans get posted.
Anybody know of an instant access account paying 1.5% or more on £20k that can make BACS transfers to AC? (Already maxed out in San 123). My 1.6% BS a/c will only transfer to my nominated bank a/c.

Are you going to sort out the issue that has been reported a number of times, the apparent availability of portions of loans for sale which never are never bought despite orders to buy them being in place. And are you going to enable sale of loans with monitoring and credit events? Do you have any timescales on the resolutions to these issues. P.S. I for one like the new functionality, aside from the above issues

ICICI: 1.65% Kent Reliance: ditto (but £1k minm to be retained) BM: 1.6% £1k minm The oracle: www.moneysavingexpert.com/savings/savings-accounts-best-interest

We will be reviewing an extension to the QAA cap shortly. One important note to longer term investors - if people have used the sweep feature to bring cash in temporarily then they will go back out quickly when loan parts are available to buy so your cash should quickly move up the queue and once you are in you would stay in.

The queu is not visible but Chris says that in some way it will be made so, if you are in the queue you are NOT earning interest. AIUI. Edit. The AC page on QAA is here www.assetzcapital.co.uk/our-investor-accounts/qa-account/?affil=QAA001

Thanks for the clarification. My question then is, what happens if there are no units for the QAA to invest in? Do Assetz just wear the interest (although presumably you direct all sales into that account until the required levels are hit). Also I am very concerned about any defaults that occur. How are they apportioned and how will they be indicated to investors?

Santander 123 current a/c 3% on £20k max. Did a fast payment from there for the QAA. Will pay it back when my Wellesley 30 day notice finishes!!

I can vouch for that, I've already got some cash that's now not invested and therefore at the back of the queue. It's likely that without a cap increase the QAA will get filled with longer term holdings, reducing it's effectiveness. webwiz Have you got a trusted 'other' who you can open a joint account with? I've got access to 3 x Santander 123 accounts. Two singles and a joint.

Why would you put anything in directly, unless it was just to test it? Directly invested cash will stay there whereas swept cash could go back out if needed (to invest in say a new drawn loan) and you lose you place in the queue and would go to the back if you wanted to go back in
