How long does a withdrawal take to show up in your bank? Is this by faster payment?

How long does a withdrawal take to show up in your bank? Is this by faster payment? It depends how long SS take to action it. You will get an email when you first make the request but thats just an automatic acknowledgement. When SS actually process it you get another email and at that point its usually in your account fairly promptly, FP I think

It depends on how quickly SS process it and I think some banks transfer between each other faster than others. But I once had money in my account less than an hour from request!
Note that if you have a BACS deficit this needs to clear first before a payment will be processed.
