lendingcrowd : A suggestion regarding the 'My investments' part of your website. The table one obtains upon clicking on 'details' would be much more useful if - the rates at which one lends were included - the number of outstanding / total repayments was listed - loan parts would be removed upon sale. ( And a question to more experienced users: How does one format names like 'lendingcrowd' so that they get informed about this post?Thx registerme and arbster)

Click on that, and then start typing the forum handle of the person concerned and it will find it for you and put a "link" in (and send them a notification). It looks like this flx123 .

Or you can just type registerme if you know someone's handle and it has the same effect. EDIT: When composing you have to put an "@" in front of their handle...

How is it possible that the remaining part of a loan is bigger than the (original) principal which is listed two columns on its right? (this is happening in each of the loans I have invested in)

(this is happening in each of the loans I have invested in) I believe that's the rounded figure of the payments, including interest, due to you over the remaining loan period. Certainly is an unusual way to present it, and of questionable value.

Agreed, I'm not a fan. Principal and interest is fine by me.

Hi,
Sorry for butting in but I think this might be related to what you are saying. Is there a way to say what rate of interest I am getting on a particular loan part? I see that LC quote an Exchange Rate, which I understand as being a way of making things look more brilliant than they really are, but what about the raw data without a lot of mathematical magic?
I would be grateful for any suggestions.
Cheers

Could you 1) Separate the main terms and conditions from the term and conditions of the various offers (and the terms and conditions of the various offers from each other). I went to look at the T&Cs for the introductory offer, and was presented with the T&Cs for a sweepstake (which I haven't yet noticed being publicised anywhere on the site). 2) Make the point of access to the terms and conditions more obvious - I found them by accident while reading the terms and conditions for the introductory offer. (The Support menu, where I subsequently found them, isn't an obvious place to look, to me; I expected to find it them linked on www.lendingcrowd.com/investor/, and/or more prominently on the home page. However kudos for not requiring us to start the signup process to access the terms and conditions, which has been done elsewhere.) 3) Change the layout of the Definitions section to be less confusing. Currently multi-line definitions start further up the page (this may be browser-sensitive) than the term defined; if you top-aligned the left hand column (a CSS or HTML tweak) this would be corrected. (Alternatively draw borders round the table cells, but I think that would be overkill and unaesthetic.) TIA

Hi flx123 and @hor1997, Thanks for your feedback. As with all the suggestions we receive we are feeding them back to the team. If you have any more please do send them on. ablender, the interest rate shown here is for a particular loan part. When we moved to the new aggregated loan exchange the title was not updated. We will update the title to reflect this. am, thanks for your suggestions. Our T&Cs (and definitions) page doesn’t have the best presentation, and we have outlined this for an update to make it more user-friendly. The T&Cs are linked to at the bottom of every page but we will look at making them more prominent on the pages you have suggested. Many thanks, LendingCrowd

Another buglet .. autobid (I was just looking .. I ain't gonna turn it on until it has dynamic bidding options) .. it starts off with 'all' for region and industry sector, but if I click on 'all' it turns everything off, but won't let me click it again to turn 'all' back on.

I'd like to see the interest rate for each investment displayed on the "My Investments" screen. I'm pretty certain this used to be displayed when I first signed up. This can be a good idea but for now I settle with being able to see the "My Investment" page. When I try to access it the following comes up. Please note that this is not the first time that this happens.

. Apologies for resurrecting a dormant thread, but it's topical so seems better than creating a duplicate:
Some of the website pages are quite long as you scroll down lists, so to get back up to the menus a "back to top of page" button - a la eBay up-arrow - would be useful.

Hi adrianc
Thanks for that; I do like to use keyboard navigation/control where possible, but in this case I'm usually on my netbook which means pressing [Fn - <] in concert for home, and I'm not so proficient at touch-typing to do that without a good view of the keyboard!
However, it's not a major issue and wouldn't want to divert obviously overworked resources to do that while there are more pressing issues - like chasing up defaulters, responding to enquiries or improving the help & other documentation!

Not forgetting sorting the tax statement so it doesn't include 'the summer bonus'.
