Hi,
Let's say I load some money several times on the same day: £100, then £200, then £300
My deficit would be £600.
Do I need to make 3 bank transfers for the very specific amounts, or can I do a single one for £600?

Before P2P, savers put a guinea in a piggy bank, now they smash the banks to become guinea pigs.

Edit: I imagine it's easier for SS to process one transaction than three.

I have done multiple transfers to be on the safe side but as the reference on the BACS transfer is the account number I can see no reason why one should have to. Depends on SS's office procedures I suppose.

Just do it in one. I have done that several times and not had a problem

Like the others said, one transfer is fine. It adds the money to your SS account, which then calculates your balance based on your prior deficit.

It would be good if Saving Stream could give us a formal answer to this
I have been making multiple payments (as the instructions say) instead of lump sums on the basis this was probably easier for them.
If it makes no difference, I would of course, be happy to transfer the amount due in one payment..

We would, in fact, prefer to do it in one payment (less work for us) if it does not make any extra work for SS.

Note to self: read instructions more.
To date I've always sent a single payment matching the deficit irrespective of how many chunks that deficit came from. No issues to far though.

We know it works. The question is does it cause SS any extra admin. If not why do they ask for deposits to be registered in advance.
