I have seen some contributors on here act as underwriters. I don't wish to invest much more directly in P2P loans, but have maybe 50k with no immediate home.
I wondered whether this was enough to be an underwriter? How long money might be tied up in loans (I realise this is a how long is apiece of string question)? How much it pays?

Well you've asked a general question but I would assume the answers will be specific to each platform, so best to ask them individually and directly I think.

That's perhaps the way to go. I once wasted time reading up on, and exchanging emails with a certain platform, only to finally be told investments start at 100k. If the same is true of underwriting, there's no point in me wasting everyone's time.
