Heh - Well it is "retrying" now (9218). It's my highest % loan part (14.1, C) and is my first ever due repayment part. Clearly someone "knew" on the 2ndary market xD. The loan represents just over 0.5% of my current book (Only been doing this for 4 days). I've been gambling profitably for some years, and know these things always come down to judgement rather than luck in the long term - Was it a bad buy ? I can't look at it whilst it's blocked from the SM (and it's more than 6 months old, so I'd be long shot by now) but does it have any past payment problems mentioned at the top of the Repayments tab? That's the first place you should always look before buying something on the SM. That's November 2014 which for me is far too long to keep a C loan, let alone buy on the SM. We know nothing about its progress other than the repayments made - until they stop. Going back to the OP. All property loans are now filled and so they should have a fresh start on Monday, in parallel with the new fixed rates for the unsecured loans. I wonder if FC will try to get away with generally worse offers for the future property loans? I stopped buying the unsecured loans long ago - avoiding the trauma of defaults among other reasons. So if the property loan deals look worse then I could be among the last rats to leave the ship.

9218 is a whole loan - £52k worth of B (although yes, it is late) .. was that number a typo?

Total new loans listed today, as far as I can see, amount to one <£13k B. So is everyone postponing their money needs until Monday, or are all the Fixed Coupon staff off being retrained to answer questions on the new regime? (I see the autobid page is still lying about what it does, not that I'd let it do anything for me).A few stats for whatever they are worth. Saved from Wordpad. Hope it displays OK. FC RS ZOPA Founded 2010 2010 2005 Annualised sales rise, last 3 yrs* (%) 196 184 73 Latest sales [2014?]* (£m) 13.1 12.5 11.5 In profit* No Yes No Staff size* 182 110 62? Observations: £m figures are rounded to the nearest decimal; only RS is operating at a profit; ZOPA latest annual sales volume is well below that of FC or RS; the borrower/lender ratio for FC (10/43) is far below that for RS (137/26) or ZOPA (110/51). NB. 30 of the Tech Track 100 report no profit.

You can't blame the borrowers for waiting until the fixed rates come in but what has really annoyed me over the last week or so are the large number of loans that have not been accepted - I think that I had 6 rejects out of 8 loans. The only two that I'm now waiting on are 15709 and 15820 and I expect at least 1 of them will go 'plop'. I certainly won't be happy if these rejected loans suddenly start reappearing at fixed rate this week.

With the exception of 15709 (which I also doubt will be accepted, but seemed worth a punt for a quick flip), that's why I called time on bidding a couple of weeks ago. My feeling was that any business opting needlessly to pay high rates once the fixed rates had been announced was either desperate or daft.

FC Comment: This borrower decided not to take up funding at this time. They intend to relist in the coming weeks. Thanks, FC.

Just 15820 to go now, btw where can I see the reasons for loans not being taken up?

Thanks, FC. Quelle surprise.
