I've just realised that while I'm currently checking out, I may never actually be able to leave FC....
Am currently merrily transferring money out as my parts sell, and I just noticed that the minimum transfer out is £20. And I have 19.75 stuck in 13710. Now I may well never see any of that again anyway, but if any does start trickling in after I've cleared everything else I can forsee some Fun Communications...

Yes, I have the same. My approach will be that if repayments come in I will need to transfer £100 in (minimum transfer in amount) and then immediately withdraw it all. But given that current repayments on my 1 default are approx. 30p a month I may wait a while before I bother !!

Yes, I know this definitely works, as I've been doing it every month for nearly a year now. The bonus is, for me at least, that the card transfer is not debited to my bank account until the day after the cash is received back from Flaccid Crackers Now, with Santander paying 3%, if I were able to deposit £10,000, I could make 66p extra interest per day. Nearly enough to buy a packet of peanuts!

In the past I have paid in less than £20.00 by a bank transfer rather than debit card for exactly the purpose you describe.

And they say the Robots are going to take over our civilisation.

We only say that to keep you from noticing that they already did. 8>. (using the word 'civilization' rather loosely, I must admit).
p.s. I am deliriously happy today, having discovered I had forgotten to buy 'The Hydrogen Sonata' by my favourite (deceased) author when it arrived in paperback. The bummer being that it really is the last ..

The bummer being that it really is the last .. Iain M Banks is dead...?! (I've checked and see he was another tragic victim of cancer). It's been far too long since I took the time to read a book, but when I last did it was one of his Culture series... I'll have to put THS on my Christmas wishlist, along with the time to read it.

It's in a client account which adds further protection

Well worth finding the time. Seconded. It's... a little rushed, which is understandable in the circumstances. As I said to GSV3MIaC in a PM it meanders a little to start with but when it goes off it goes off with a BANG. We need a book review thread / forum . Not only for Ian Banks, but also for financial type books. I'm currently reading Shredded. Written in a rush (with no pancreatic cancer to blame), and poorly edited, it will still make your hair curl. And make you think about P2P and the security on which you are basing your lending.
