A heads up of what might be on its way down the pipeline would be welcome.
Anyone from SS care to comment?
I feel I've got enough exposure to the existing loans but would be interested in new opportunities

I suspect it needs the unsold backlog to find homes first, but there may also be delays surrounding the new structure. We've been promised that all pipeline and launched loans from now on will be under that.

True but as applications have to go through 4 steps before they are ready to be funded, to have nothing visible on any of the steps has to be a concern.

I suspect it needs the unsold backlog to find homes first... I thought that too at one time. Then I read the latest update which says that PBL015 has been sold with completion set for 1/Oct. That would put £1.05M back into lenders' accounts, and all it would take to absorb all of the parts currently available would be for about 60% of the PBL015 proceeds to be re-invested. PBL022 also is expected to refinance very soon and that would bring in another £945k. So I didn't see any need for SS to delay bringing more loans forward. Then again, 1/Oct came and went last week, and the PBL022 refinancing has been imminent for over a month now, so who knows when either of these loans actually will be repaid.

LW The "4 stage" pipeline progress monitor died a death a long time ago. These days, nothing appears on the pipeline list until it's already in legals (stage 4)

Thanks for that snippet Stevet. I'd not observed that but have only been looking seriously for the last few months.
I guess I will have to be patient and wait for opportunities to drop out of the sky then.

I feel I've got enough exposure to the existing loans but would be interested in new opportunities LW Most of us have been in this situation. A popular approach has been to put all your SS destined money into whatever is available and then diversify over time by selling parts and buying into newer loans. This does depend on a fluid SM which has always been the case until recently.

I guess I will have to be patient and wait for opportunities to drop out of the sky then. LW They did indicate on Friday ( here) that they intend for there to be a brief hiatus in the loan flow, giving them a window in which to sort out details for transfer of old loans to the new structure. The recent deluge of new loans has not been the norm up to now; who knows how things will continue, but probably not quite so frenetic. It is likely to be mainly new lenders who'd like there to be quite so many all at once - a sedate but regular flow would keep me happy.
