andrewholgate, stuartassetzcapital, As you have started making institutional loans I was wondering if you can confirm that the process ensures that the institutions can't cherry pick. From memory, one of you made a comment that loan allocation would be random; is that still the case? If it is random, are they allowed to reject such a loan? And would the retail crowd see it appear as an institutional rejection? The numbers from FC on this last point appear quite startling - loans offered originally to institutions, but rejected seem to have a much higher default rate and are a significant worry to me. I don't expect either of you to comment on their activities, but I thought it worth pointing out that such a discussion is happening. At the moment we would know what is happening with AC as we don't see the institutional loans, which is poor from a transparency point of view.

The loans are chosen at random and there is no cherry picking of the loans. As to what happens when a loan is rejected by an fund.....it hasn't happened yet. When it does we will make an assessment and then deal with it accordingly.

Over the period August 1 to September 30, what has been the value of institutional loans drawn down compared with retail loans drawn down? Ditto the last six months?

Over the period August 1 to September 30, what has been the value of institutional loans drawn down compared with retail loans drawn down? Ditto the last six months? Figures for September only - we retailers saw 877k draw down, wiseclerk reported here loan origination on AC in total was €2.6m. (Retail from what I saw only, but don't think I missed anything...) It should also be possible to deduce for previous months using the P2Pbanking archives referenced with what shows as drawndown on AC... if your interested.
