I know it is not terribly PC to say such things, but I have a policy not to employ, or lend money to, anyone whose application contains basic spelling errors. Perhaps I am being unfair in that English may not be their first language, and in that case I would apologize but would recommend that when applying for a £60,000 investment they have their replies checked. Could be dyslexic , then you don't know you got it wrong if the spellchecker says its a real word. Anyway S******r is 36K n to make sure it goes through.

Both might be equally acceptable - but only if you're in the middle of the Atlantic.

I thought it was apologise but the spell checker says apologize. I have learnt not to cross technology, it waits and then bites back when you least expect it - or I could be slightly paranoid.

I thought it was apologise but the spell checker says apologize. Is your smellchucker set to US English, by any chance?

Yes you are right you clever old thing. I had it on English which apparently defaulted to American English on the spell checker. Have changed it to United Kingdom and voila||
Oh buxxer it's gone French on me now

Are the risk bands being applied not a bit - or even a lot - on the rosy side? That internet company loan, for example, is virtually a start-up, and would be a C on Rebs starting at 20% and probably an E on FC at 18.2%. No?

Well I guess it should be encouraging that some backers are willing to punt so much.
