If anyone took offence at the ironic circumstances that had amused me then I extend my sincere apologies.

I've been relishing the day the certain owner of said office block chases me for defamation, bring it on. Regardless of any perceived legitimacy concerning historic grievances the P2P Independent forum is not, and the forum staff will not let it become, a platform for a campaign against a borrower / connected parties. There are plenty of ways, adhering to the forum rules, to hold sensible and mature discussions concerning loans, platforms and borrowers without resorting to trying to use the forum as your megaphone.
Failure to respect this will result in your stay here being a short one.
RM Sorry, kneejerk reaction to the previous post. PM is not in the public domain, hence the Defamation Act does not apply.

In that case, you have missed the point. The borrower's MO has been explained elsewhere and that is not the reason that people are annoyed. Exactly. I'm out and will be donating any interest from these loans to an appropriate farmers charity. Very generous, may I recommend The Addington Fund,Farm Community Network or RABI,all have tried their best to help the victims of this man.I could say more but I believe the megaphone batteries are failing.

Sorry, kneejerk reaction to the previous post. PM is not in the public domain, hence the Defamation Act does not apply. All publications to third parties can potentially be defamatory. i.e you can email Mr X and tell him he is fraudster, thats fine. However if you email anyone else that Mr X is a fraudster, then you are potentially defaming them unless you personally can prove to a court that Mr X is a fraudster. Same applies to PM threads ... claiming Mr X is a fraudster in a PM thread that is seen by anyone orther than Mr X, is again potentially defaming him unless you personally can prove to a court that Mr X is a fraudster. Take a step back, it is entirely possible that you easilyparted could indeed prove to a court that Mr X is a fraudster. I somehow doubt any other participant in such a thread on this forum could prove Mr X is fraudster, and could be opening themselves up to damages for defamation as a result. The Defamation Act 2013 does apply to PM threads.(Mr X for the purpose of this post is entirely fictitious and does not refer to any specific individual).

Now, this thread returns to sensible (ie in adherence to the forum rules; and if you have issues with moderator action take them to the Feedback forum) discussion of PBL64 or it gets locked, and all discussion of it is prohibited for a month or two. And then nobody benefits.

I made a note there was £95015 ahead of me when put up for sale at start of month, and was amazed that my holding sold last night. I had already been enjoying a glass (or 2) of red!
