I think there's little more worth saying at present. PBL056 comes up for repayment in one month. Let's see if Barclay's comes up trumps ... assuming they have actually made the offer the borrower has advised. I presume all the updates are a result of the "regular contact" SS has with the borrower. I think SS has more pressing problems currently with certain overdue loans. No more boaty loans, yet we all sailing too close to the wind i many cases? 1 week ago Refinance with Barclays still underway. Borrower advised next week hopefully, depending on the lenders legals.
I wonder if this is the same type of non existant refinance the borrower offered his customers/alleged victims.

He is a director of the company that is the borrower for the farm So glad you're paying attention & on the ball cooling_dude Completely passed me by. I'm not some sort of machine that is hooked up the Companies House website 24/7 you know... ( I await the terminator memes, quotes and references following this post... )
So was your post on the 04th a subtle little hint, or did it also pass you by that there was Termination of appointment on that day Anyway... still very strange... son resigns, father (with legal controversy past & pending) appointed on the same day. Wonder what the story is behind this...

Not in this one... good luck to those who are. Seems as though VP was only shuffling the chairs till the captain came back, not mentioning that iceberg in the distance, and HMRC have reserved the life rafts.

but what about that reported court case with the bank on his residential properties and the negative equity with Barclays? Oh dear The residential properties that can't be sold without the permission of another of his companies, that security will be worth a lot then.Having had their leg lifted for £20 odd million are they going to ride into his rescue,I think not, different times now.

Not that personal guarantees mean anything, but was there one and how does the change in directors affect this? No PG according to the particulars, just "Debenture" (which I believe means the assets of the company) Edit : Must note that we are talking about PBL056 not PBL064. PBL064 (where DP is not the director) does have a PG (held against VP).

No PG according to the particulars, just "Debenture" (which I believe means the assets of the company) From this can we assume that Saving Stream will shortly be advertising for a pig farm manager to look after these assets.

It is impotent to remember that neither of these loans has defaulted, and SS still holds interest for 32 (PBL064) & 72 (PBL056) days. However, this is a dormant company which would suggest there are little to no assets (other than the land), so it would suggest that the secondary security is worth very little.

Pig farmer possibly unnecessary as the security is a piece of land with PP for a house not the farm, though there are also fixed & floating charges over the company's property & undertakings. Hopefully we wouldn't need to enforce the latter so can avoid the bacon business.

Just a guess but I wouldnt be surprised if the refinancing didnt now proceed and the new director puts it up for sale
Next question whats it worth - planning granted 10 years ago for a house with agricultural occupancy restriction & never a brick laid?
