... I bought some to flip and still have a small amount. Others are probably in a potentially much worse position. No need to worry, it's impossible for this loan to default. Blender bought some and he has "a strict 'no more defaults' policy." Correctly remembered, bonfemme, but unfortunately that will not save lenders from this one. The more likely result is the final blending:- Attachment Deleted

No sign of Baz, maybe he lives in Carlisle and his PC is waterlogged.

With Foul Coprolite deeming it appropriate to even consider this kind of application as worthy of funding, I am glad my withdrawal from the platform is continuing steadily. With all the Q & A highlighting the weakness, the company still refuses to reply.

If you are in the process of removing your funds from FC then why are you bothering to investigate their current offerings?

Obviously because what is going on now may influence further my future actions regarding the platform.

Well, there's no harm in window shopping is there. Even in the vain hope that what it sells might have improved in some way......

My apologies for not being able to read your mind especially as the tone of your original post strongly suggested that you had already made the decision to move away from the platform.

I did wonder why you were interested in my reasons for still monitoring the platform. I'll still have some loan parts there for at least a year (mainly the building developments) and the gradual exit may take at least that long because not much the remaining portfolio is "junk". With another E being discussed as RBR before the first payment, and this one looking decidedly like incompetent management by the prospective borrower, questions are mounting on FC's own judgement. Maybe in 2016 FC will take a much improved stance, following the disappointing introduction of (lowish) fixed rates in 2015, whole loan procedure (rejects go to the main market thus favouring the whole loan fraternity) and the sudden apparent change at the same time in risk band allocations.
