2 down, don't panic for the other one. Does anybody know why E's don't get 10% from the government?
All three being WL rejects. 8>. I think the BBB funding has some set of requirements as to company size (turnover), profitability (or lack of) etc .. check the Fairly Conservative blogs and posting on the subject for details

Putting one in so he can reach the loan comments when it defaults. Alternative is a very long watchlist.

An imposter using the same username? [Last I checked, FC didn't prevent duplicate usernames - the system uses an internal database ID number behind the scenes so it doesn't get confused, only end-users get confused when they see someone else placing bids in "their" name]

17227 is a secured D for £200,000 How secured would this secured loan be? There is little detail to judge. Common sense would say that a secured D has much lower risk than an unsecured A+, although common sense is not one of Futile Comprehension's virtues.

Their three previous loans, all paid off, were all A-rated. To me, the figures look better than virtually all the recent A+ loans. I simply can't understand the logic behind the risk bands at the moment. I think I'll have some of this one.

The only reason I haven't gone for this one is that I can't see a company that is used to paying 8% accepting 14.1% unless they're very desperate, in which case I'd rather they didn't have my money.

Ummmm.....having second thoughts. They either don't know the fixed rate they've been allocated or it's another listing error. I'll wait until it's nearly full then make a decision.

Ummmm.....on second thoughts, neither can I. They either don't know the fixed rate they've been allocated or it's another listing error. I'll wait until it's nearly full then make a decision. I thought the same, but the borrower has responded to a question and confirms they are happy to borrow at that rate. Curiouser and curiouser...

Ref assets, it appears they have £820K of existing charges/debentures on their £1,390K fixed assets (which doesn't tally with the financials presented), which means in comparison terms this is a 2nd/3rd charge with an LTV of 73%. I'm not sure 13.1% is a reasonable return for that kind of risk, but it might flip before it goes bad.
