Went to fundingcircle.com today and the little flags that used to lead you to either the US or UK site now have flags for Germany, Spain and NL. Have FC confirmed when they will launch their service in those countries?

I did and they let me join. However, I later saw that their T&C state one would need a German address and bank account. The latter seems essential because all transactions, including every single interest payment, would use this account.

Looks like Victory Park are pulling all the strings. Interestingly they're also big investors in Assetz. What could this mean?

The EU has failed to achieve anything like a common process for services. Lucky for us, since this country does nothing else but services. FC are going to be up against some very low cost banks in Europe, should be fun to see if there is a "game" to "change".

There was an article in the FT today mentioning FC's acquisition of Zencap. FC are quoted as saying that investors will not for the time being be allowed to invest cross border. However, they did mention that the investment fund they plan to list will invest in the european and US platforms. The investment fund is potentially going to have a major impact on all the platform. At a minimum, I assume they will look to raise £200M, probably closer to £500M, which can only mean returns will take a bit hit in the short to medium term.

A good job they fixed the interest rates, then? I think I will stay with farming the cash back.

If I were them I'd just convert everybody's loan parts to shares in the fund. The PL trade clearly isn't going anywhere and is going to have to be put out of its misery somehow at some point.

At which point it ceases to be P2B or P2P at all (if it even still is) and we can move it off this forum to some place more obscure. 8>. If I want to invest in a mutual fund I have more interesting places than FC to put my money.
