All 3 family accounts have lost a few pence capital too, this is IT department nonsense, you don’t lose capital with a bank or other P2P platforms so why AC?

chris - whilst I agree with the strategy of 40 dp, the way the figures are presented to lenders is damaging the AC brand. Like previous posters I have quite a few holdings apparently 1p short when presented to 2 dp, but I'm actually a little short in the 15th & 16th dp's. It makes attempting to reconcile figures very difficult. There needs to be a firm rule established for generating the 2dp values that is based on rounding to eliminate small variances in the least significant decimal places. All three of these loans have been purchased as single whole thousand amounts. There is also another anomoly ... my total capital invested varies by upto 20p at differrent times ... mysteriously gaining around 20p then a few hours later losing it again.

I've also noticed this, it seems to happen when I first logon, when I "hover" over "Current Total Lent" it only shows 2d.p. then after viewing other pages seems to correct itself showing about 14d.p. I thought as the Dashboard had been modified today, that the anomaly might have been corrected, but it's still occurring. Edit - Just discovered if I look at MLIA statement page then back to Dashboard, hey presto the 14d.p.'s magically appear

Not to do with "just logging in" as I'm permanently logged in So even though everything is processed to 20+ places of internal accuracy, the fundamental point is that the invested "total" figures move around even with no transactions taking place. Is it just the website suffering from indigestion, internally re-arranging the deckchairs, or what?

Well spotted ! That is indeed the explanation. The current total lent varies depending on whether the 3rd to 40th dp's have been included or not. As I reported yesterday, my total varies by c. 20p. I have now proved (by summing up the figures in the excel download) that when it drops by c. 20p the total is totalising only to 2dp, and when it increases by c. 20p it is toalising to the full dp accuracy. (If I total up all my 3rd to 40th dp's I get c. 23p worth ) chris - is this a bug as it appears, or is there a rational explanation as to why the total sometimes is to 2 dp accuracy and sometimes to 40 dp accuracy.
