Dear Investor, We are pleased to invite P2P Independent Forum users to trial the BETA version of the new Saving Stream website. URL: beta.savingstream.co.ukUsername: sstream Password: s!str3am The above credentials are for accessing the website only, not for the logging into your account. You can also access the BETA site via beta.savingstream.co.uk (HTTPS so more secure, but you may have to accept a security warning due to beta). Please be aware the database that this BETA site uses is about two weeks old and does not represent your actual live SS account. You should be able to login with your usual details, providing you haven't changed your password in the past two weeks. The site has been designed to work on most browsers, tablets & mobiles. Please feel free to buy and sell investments without recourse or any need for follow up bank transfers. The new site does not utilise auto-deposits or BACS deficits. If your available balance is £0.00 and an investment is made this will create a negative available balance which requires either a deposit, or loan part sale, in order to resolve. Please remember, this is a test BETA version of the new site. Any changes you make to your account (including changing details, buying or selling investments, etc...) will not be reflected on your existing account on the live site. We welcome all feedback regarding the BETA site and request that feedback be emailed to feedback@savingstream.co.uk

I like the overall feel of the new site. I have a question. When one selects an amount to sell. Will the selected part (green) be the part you want to sell or the part you want to keep?
Edit 1: I think there is a problem with the Live loans page.
If you go to the LOANS page and then select LIVE LOANS move to page 2 Scroll to the bottom select "view all" The page shows "No Loans to show and keeps on refreshing." If I move to page 1 and select view all it works properly.
What is expected: If I am on page 2 and I select "view all" I want to be taken automatically to page 1 and show all loans.
End of Edit 1
Edit 2 : Are the available loans the ones which used to be green?
End of Edit 2

I'd complain about the fashion for grey text and large square boxes with little text in them making it more difficult to read but I understand it needs to look 'wizzy' these days and there's nothing I can do about that. I'd prefer in the loans display to be able to really turn the pictures off. I'd like a stronger visual hint that there is a second page to see not just a small "< 1 2 >" in two shades of grey far away from the top and bottom of the list. The download to excel is putting a capital "A" with an arrow above it in front of £ amounts in the Loan part detail: PBL18 - L&A Activity Centre Swansea (£37.73) which is probably not what you want. There's no "download to excel" option in any of the "My loans" tabs. Otherwise a very desirable improvement. Perhaps a slightly darker grey can help. john334, I suppose you did notice that you can change the view to a list view.

Can you please check that the website will default to a preferred (or else your last selected) display setting when you log in, ie. "List" view and "View All" in my case. I will rapidly go bonkers if I have to click buttons every time I log in just to get all the loans listed on 1 page (I know this as Assetz Capital drives me mad in this regard!). Thanks.
Edit: Actually there is a bigger problem to solve first: if I set the "Live Loans" page to "View All" and then go to "Pipeline Loans", say, it forgets my"View All" setting when I return to "Live Loans". If it's a problem to solve quickly, I'd suggest sticking to the "List" view and "View All" that we're used to, looking perhaps to add the other display options at a later date.
ps. The "Available Loans" page strikes me as a helpful addition!

Anyone want to stress test the site by many of us buying parts in the same loan at a predetermined time?

Just a note - I've pinned the topic to prevent it wandering off.

In the old live loan parts there was a column which showed the current interest earned with a total at the bottom.
In the new website, I can still find the interest earned by a particular part by clicking on the down arrow but there is no way that I can find to view a whole list of all the parts and a total.
I think I will miss this function. Any others share this?
Also remaining days has disappeared completely. I think this can be useful and at least on my screen there is enough place for this information to be displayed. (In the My Loans>LiveLoanParts).

On the "Sell Loan Part" pages, the interest rate for each loan part is shown as "RATE OF RETURN: 1.00% ". I presume this is an error, displaying the monthly rate as opposed to the headline 12% rate shown everywhere else.

Please put interest on the Live Loanparts page. Ideally, interest paid to date and interest accrued (i.e. from the start of the month but not yet paid). There is too much whitespace on that page and plenty of room for more columns of data.

Of course we wont really be buying anything, just testing the system on the test database, which is a copy of the live database taken a couple of weeks ago.

Are we able to do this without upsetting our real accounts?

Stress test will only be worthwhile if the beta site is on production sized infrastructure.
