Last point for now - all the tables have a ridiculous amount of padding which really hurts readability.

I can't seem to find a schedule of my expected repayments. including dates, loans, principal and interest This should also have 'export to excel' Note for all excel download offers. Dates MUST be recognizable by all excel products - No text dates please There never has been, not least because the expected date for return of principal is unknown until it happens! Just because plan details sometimes vary, doesn't me that I don't want a plan of when repayments are expected. A view of when and how much is planned is the vital heart of any tracking process that I am sure most of us use. As loan repayment details actually change, the schedule should reflect these changes so that you have the best outlook possible of future revenue streams

I have had a proper look now and the various My Loans subpages could really be improved. 1. There is far too much whitespace in general 2. Clicking on a loan to get the little blue box is frustrating and should be removed completely 3. Live Loanparts should show the following columns in the same table in one view: [Photo - PBL Name - Drawdown - Start Date - Remaining - Rate - Amount - Interest Paid - Interest Accrued - Sell Button] ideally with a nice total at the bottom and with sortable column headers. 4. Repaid Loanparts should follow a similar pattern 5. Sold Loanparts illustrates the problem best - there is no info available at all be default apart from the name and you have to click on each PBL in turn to find out any info whatsoever. Very frustrating for users.
Mostly looking good but tell your designers to stop sacrificing functionality for aesthetics. Agree with the above. Dump the pretty whitespace and pictures - give us information

Not sure if the Beta site is supposed to complete SM sale transactions fully but, as an experiment, I listed £6.58 of PBL59 for sale and then went and bought the same back again. I've managed to buy the new loan-part but my original loan-part remains listed for sale and 0% sold (and my Available Funds have dropped by £6.58)

Well I have to say that I like the pictures and the modern feel to it. It can still be done while adding more info.

Negative availabilities were removed prior to beta release. Please feel free to stress test and try and replicate the negative availabilities bug from old site. Hmm. I suspect that the negative availabilities were removed from the available loans but not from loans held in user's portfolios which were not available. Otherwise my £5000 in PBL020 has mysteriously changed to £4856 without any of it being sold as far as I can tell. Edit: ignore this

Agree with the above. Dump the pretty whitespace and pictures - give us information Of the various platforms I use, I think Moneything has one of the better balances between clarity of feel and effective information display. When I view my Moneything loans, the fixed text bars at the top take up less than 1/3rd of the screen, I can see the first 13 loans without scrolling, and 18 on the page when I scroll down. Might be worth asking your web developers to take a look. [Even the existing SS website lets me see my first 8 loans without scrolling and 15 on the page when I scroll down. As the new website stands now, I can only see 6 without scrolling and 11 on the page when I scroll down]

On the live loan page there is a view all button, is there supposed to be something equivalent for our own live loan parts list? Another point, my loan parts are not in order, neither do the columns appear to be able to be ordered in any way. Forgot to say, savingstream, thanks for giving the opportunity for testing. Hope you will take some of these comments on board though.

I've just asked a very important question in the Q&A on PBL59 and am eager to know the answer. The question has disappeared (presumably sitting in your inbox savingstream), will the Q's and A's be listed for all to see? (a welcome addition btw)

First brief view. YUK! No good at all. There seems to be a long latency between clicks, aside from other horrors. I would go back to the drawing board, else you will have a lot of hacked-off loyal lenders. KISS. It's too radical a change from the existing site. You must do these things incrementally, listening to what people actually want (we've been telling you for months), not what you think they want, or what developers imagine to be "sexy". Clarity, Simplicity, Speed and Efficiency are what I want above all. The existing site actually is very good at most of this, with just a couple of easily fixable tweaks required. edit: but kudos for releasing the BETA, as requested... I will try and give some more considered thoughts when I have time, but would urge the developers to address the latency issue as a priority.

Had a quick look and here is my brief bullet point list of what I'm missing
* sorting my loans table on all columns (similar to Loans page) * filtering/marking loans that I'm already invested in * showing active loans, (new, with parts for sale) on top * emailing me when part is sold not when I put it for sale * merging loan parts into one * implementing a locking mechanism so the loan balance can't go below 0 (although people commenting that works now) * email notification when loans are put on SM, even nicer when I could specify those I want to be notified * instant reconciliation - so if I sell loan part or piece of it it should add to my available balance straight away not when I email SS
Not great fan of the new layout, too fancy, to much marketing bs, less readable. I don't care about colours, I want speed, information, readability, reliability. Tabular view much better that those thumbnails on Loans page

Thoughts:
Fist up my live loans haven't been carried across properly. I have a quarter of what I can see.
Secondly far too much padding.
Thirdly, can we have an option to go with or without pictures. I've just found the "list" view, which is better than the super massive pictures view - but an even neater non picture view would be good.
Grouping loans that we have is nice - an export to excel or .csv would be even better.
I've put up shrapnel on the secondary market for further stress testing.

A a new investor to Saving Stream I found the existing site to be easy to understand and navigate with only a few little niggles. IMHO I think you may be better keeping the existing layout with just some tweaks to incorporate the additional information that members have requested. I don't find the new site as easy to navigate. No harm in changing colours, fonts to glitz it up a bit but it still needs to be user friendly.

Sorry, but not a fan of the new site, on the existing site its easy to scan the loan page for availability, on the new site you have to look at each "box" to see what is available.
What is the idea behind the change, I don't see much, if anything, wrong with the old site. If you want to add more functionality then just add it to the old site without changing the whole thing.
I haven't tried it on a phone but I would imagine it would load very slow and be almost unusable. For what its worth, I do like the new colour scheme and header, but that's it I'm afraid

(top right, 3 bars instead of the default 4 squares) List view should be the only one available ihmo. Edit; at least once you have change over to list view it remembers, even after being logged out and signing in again.
