Hi
i am new to forum and ss so may have read this wrong but......how can an investor obtain the same sm chunk multiple times causing the investment % total to go negative.....and I presume therefore automatically eating up any future sm offers. This seems strange. I am referring to PBL051....tho I notice it haas happened on lots of loans.....same investor
i may have got this totally wrong

This seems strange. I am referring to PBL051....tho I notice it haas happened on lots of loans.....same investor i may have got this totally wrong Welcome. There is a glitch in SS system which allows two people or more to invest in the same loan chunk if they both click to buy while it is available. The system doesnt check availibilty at point of actually executing the purchase. In this case the person is probably a bot which is buying too fast for the system to realise it is taking the same piece repeatedly. Alternatively it could be somebody with multiple windows open clicking buy in all of them before executing the actual purchase in each. Seems unlikely but possible in theory Yes eats up future SM offers until neg balance cleared and may cause selling parts to get stuck. Generally an issue on several levels

That said, making rapid multiple purchases from the same user account makes it screamingly obvious (to us, let alone to savingstream) that the system is being abused, unless there's some sort of processing glitch at the server end. I can't think it will take long for action to be taken (another visitor to the naughty step?).

I think it was possibly me that that first brought up the idea that someone was using a bot. When I was keen and scrambling for loans, I could not believe how quickly loan parts were vanishing including even at ungodly o'clock. Well, PBL looks pretty much certain now, does it not?

What if the extra money has to be used to fund the Provision Fund (At 0% that is)? I think people will stop doing this.
