The results are available www.altfi.com/awards/2015Fairly predictable I suppose, mainly favouring the older larger platforms, but having seen the EU result I do wonder if the judges are actual investors on the platforms they have chosen.

I see that Ratesetter won the Most innovative Investment Product of the Year 2015 award. ("This award will be given to the platform that has been deemed to have broken new ground this year with a new and unique investment product that has stood out above the competition.") Does anyone know what new ground RS broke this year? westonkevRS?

"Rate to lend at " right now" ... a new choice product, which if used randomly could even net you a rate in excess of 1% below the market rate.

Does anyone know what new ground RS broke this year? westonkevRS? Nothing really. I think it was for the Provision Fund, which hasn't really done anything new except grow. I provided some background to the (excellent) RateSetter Comms team and they submitted an entry. These awards are chosen by the web site, rather than the people. They focus on a niche sector and probably feel the need to share out the awards to the major players. Especially those that share the loan books for download. As an example, there is one platform where over 65% of its lending was institutional last 3 months based on AltFi's own loan books for download, yet still won a consumer P2P award. Go figure... Or maybe I'm just an old, cynical, bad loser! Kevin. Edit, a better award would have been for the SIPP allowance inclusion of RateSetter. A lot of work when into this slow burner which is starting to be popular in a large way with a small number of lenders.
