Chris, I must say that asking us to bare with you sounds rather 'cheeky' Why? What were you expecting to happen at the lender event?

I shall have to resist all temptation to mention birthday suits.

I shall have to resist all temptation to mention birthday suits. You might have to find another website to host the video of the event.

We're going to have to move to a different model and this was bumped in priority earlier today so that we should have a fix in place later this week. This seems to have been put into effect already. The Hackney loan parts for sale are now spread over 166 pages, with about 50 parts per page. The new display loaded very quickly, so it's a big improvement over the previous design. I appreciate that, so my thanks to AC. Has anyone worked out the order the parts are displayed in? If I'd like to buy parts offered by ordinary lenders -- presuming there are some -- in preference to parts from underwriters, with they automatically appear at either the beginning or end of the list? I sure hope I'm not expected to trawl through 166 pages looking for any!

I'll double check the order tomorrow when I'm back in the office. I would have thought it would be chronological order (earliest listing first) but that part has been coded by someone else.

Very "clunky" on Firefox 27 with that long list. Don't I remember some months back that these underwriter sales were listed at 10 or 20 to the page, or is that just the fertility of a dreamer's imagination? That's how they used to be, then we made some changes so that you could more easily bulk buy and the paging was removed as part of that. We're going to have to move to a different model and this was bumped in priority earlier today so that we should have a fix in place later this week. Please bare with us - it's a combination of too much data being rendered on the server (which takes a couple of seconds) followed by the data transmission time plus the final rendering time in the browser. It's all adding up to a horribly long wait. Whenever you're feeling blue just log on to TC, and meditate. Whenever you're feeling in need of entertainment just read their BS about how the TC website is in fact secretly superior. If ever you feel got at just read the TC Tech Director's postings Tx for the update

A small hotfix to our web servers just broke on one server whilst working on the others and working fine in our test environment. Some users would have seen an intermittent error message saying something along the lines of "Bad Gateway". We've removed that server from the pool so it should be fine now and will fix and test it in isolation before adding it back. Sorry about that. All resolved now and the server is back in the cluster. A small Horseshoegraph problem. I've just put up a comment about this under the thread; Auction 77 - Cumb** Wi** Tur**** timed 13.15 approx As this is where I've just saw it. No big deal.
