Oh bum! Never got to sell my one remaining offer. It's still there at the effective rate of just over 2%, so I'll remove it soon. I see there's nothing at all worth buying. Those bold red negative effective rates really "do the trick". Add the tax implications and the red gets even bigger.

As per an earlier request in this thread - we have also made the settings for the secondary market "sticky" so your choice of number of records to view is retained.

The impact of the new "Effective Rate" field on SM value for money has been immediate. I've just bought a couple of £25 parts (at rates >10%) in loans where PM bids were limited to £25 maximum, which has usefully used up some otherwise homeless interest.

To help potential purchasers make the correct decisions we have now added an extra field - showing the effective rate of return if you purchase on the secondary market. It remains the choice of the seller whether to ask a high premium and the buyer's choice whether to pay it. FundingSecure Excellent. I was confident in calculating the actual return I had a feeling that others might not be. Whilst I might be shooting myself in the foot if I want to sell any loans it should bring some reality to aftermarket pricing.
Well done fundingsecure

FundingSecure Any chance of making the sorting preference also "sticky" I think it must be sticky already. At least, mine is staying on "Effective Rate" sorted Highest to Lowest.

Since the premium required is from a drop down table it would be trivial to at least remove the higher options. Failure to do this will result in a huge number of dead loss parts up for sale as there is no incentive to remove them once posted. Come on FS do a "George" and admit you got this slightly wrong (in an otherwise excellent new facility).

The next enhancement would be some finer options on setting premiums (and perhaps an absolute cap at +2%). 0.25% intervals would be a good compromise I think. Agreed. A 1% step has a massive effect on APR when there is only a short term left to run. I was going to say that offers with negative APR should be blocked/hidden by the software to protect the unwary, but FS's comment re possible loan renewal is valid.

Nothing on at 10% (pre tax!) or above return currently.
The addition of a yield column is a definite improvement.
