Yep, the SM is great at the moment for all of the ISA holders. Discounted loans and tax free.

A few minutes ago I saw a sapphire part at 0.7% discount. It was gone by the time I tried to buy but why oh why do people do this? At 0.3% premium it would have sold in minutes, saving themselves 1% or a months interest.

Can someone confirm does interest only stop accruing once listed or only once bought up by someone else?

Can someone confirm does interest only stop accruing once listed or only once bought up by someone else? Interest accrues until sold (not on listing). SS is the only platform that I'm aware of that stops interest accruing at the point of listing......

I do like this change, before I would see the e-mail, pray someone bought a large amount £5K+, only to log on and...someone bought £25!

Yep - and then if it is a reasonable amount, the then copy-pasting the loan ref into the 'all loans' section to find out what you actually sold..

There seems to be a reduction of decent loans on secondary market in last few weeks.
I used to pick up quite a lot at 0/discount but recently there has been a distinct lack of good ones. Appreciate some were average but with hefty discounts but on that basis it was worth buying a few.
Either I have missed them or not much being sold?
Ps nit that interested in ones with premiums

From the September Newsletter: Despite the holiday season, the volume of loans remained high. However, with several brokers and solicitors away during August we do expect September to be a little quieter, but the longer term pipeline remains very healthy.
