Once, on the new site, after the new site went live. Though it may have been on the loan that had a bid before bids were allowed / pre-funding was allowed. And... whether it was real or not, or the functionality was real or not, is open to question.

I've tried asking a couple of questions. However I failed to make a note of which loans I asked the questions about, so I can't go back and see if there's been any response. And I'm not about to trawl through all 60 loans looking for the ones with questions.
I would hope that a response from SS would generate an email to me -- as happens at AC -- but I've had nothing of that nature arrive.

I find it hard to believe that this feature is operational. Unanswered questions do not get posted and nobody seems to have seen one answered. Maybe SS are too busy to post any answers.
Edit: SS say Yes the Q&A feature works but we only publish questions & answers that we deem to be useful to other investors.
I guess this means that so far nobody has asked a "useful" question. Shame on us!

Ok. Apparently asking for confirmation for the planning status on Hull which appears to have expired isnt deemed worthy! I know they started clearing the site in April but does that satisfy planning and the source isnt official.

I know they started clearing the site in April but does that satisfy planning and the source isnt official. It's just a typo on the website. The section you are referring to was simply originally supposed to be called the Q & FA section.

Seemed rather important to me as this purported to be an enormous increase from £8m without any explanation. Also I asked how this project was to be refinanced in due course. If SS are only posting Q & A which they consider useful, then more of the unanswered Qs will have to be aired on the forum.

But I think it's worse than than that. No only do they not publish those answers, they don't even appear to respond to the person who asked the question! I have asked two or three questions -- I can't remember exactly, and they disappear as soon as they are asked -- and have had no reaction whatsoever. savingstream: How long should I expect to wait before receiving an answer?

No q&a no investment from me. Same experience as others, questions asked and ignored (binned in fact). Do they belong to any body we can moan to (p&pfa?)

I've actually had a reply! Yesterday at 1920, I asked a question about PBL036... Today at 1258, I received an email in reply... That's the good news. The bad news is that there's still no sign of my question or savingstream 's response in the PBL036 Q&A. Does SS honestly believe that this Q&A is not "useful to other investors"? My mind boggles! |

Do it right or don't do it at all. If I was SS I'd turn it off until they figured out how they wanted to address Q+A.

I asked SS about the Q&A and they replied "If we determine that the question is useful and would benefit other investors, then we will publish it to the q&a section." So it's all at SS's discretion .....
The above was posted on the Pipeline thread and I re-post here because I have no idea how to link to another post
I have now had an email reply to my "farm" question but it is not on the website so presumably deemed not useful nor of any benefit to other investors. But I think other investors are the best judge of that. SS don't seem to have cottoned on to the fact that investors are now bearing the primary risk, not Lendy, and they require far more information if they are to adequately assess the level of risk.
