It would have been nice if you'd corrected all the typos in your blogpost first. Rather sloppy.

I suspect it might be a translation from German, so possibly not the original poster's fault but software derived [Edit crossed with Ben - alot of my posts are very sloppy but Im a native English mangler so no excuses ]

The article is indeed a translation of the German blog post and English is not my first language. It was translated manually, though. I've now corrected about 4 typos that I was able to spot. Thanks for pointing that out.

It's not a mistranslation, but I would advise you to generally use the word asset instead of pawn in your English version. This will give a better picture of the platform to us English speakers.

philip84 I guess the main target audience of your blog is to non UK residents. There are serious tax implications involved with the purchase of parts on the FS secondary market for UK tax payers, and I can't imagine the end result will be that much different for tax payers in other countries. It is irresponsible IMO to publish an article describing the purchase loan parts on the SM with out raising the fact that the buyer pays tax on the accrued interest bought during the transaction. Apart from anything else you leave yourself personally open to legal claims for providing "investment advice" that is misleading (and even if you are not resident in the UK, the fact that you have linked to your blog on this forum will not protect you from legal claims made here).
