Looking back through my loans (back before I kept all the records) I am trying to discover when cashback on large loans happened (in 2014, March/Apr iirc), and in particular if there was any on 5726 and/or 5737 .. does anyone with better records than me happen to have a definitive answer? TIA

According to my notes (which weren't very assiduously kept back then) 5726 had 1% cashback. No record of cashback on 5737. I never held either so can't check transaction statements to be sure.

I also have never held either. But in checking it is interesting how little info there is. I was buying these 1% cashback loans heavily for a new account in the first weeks of April 2014, and the transaction statements have loads of cashback payments, but not linked to a loan or loan part. Also when you go to the relevant auction pages there is no mention of the cashback. Also fundingcircle.com/offers does not go back that far. The blogs still mention the 1% on 75k or more in 31st March- 6th April, and there is mention of cashback the week before. That's all. But I imagine you know all that.

TIA I made an entry in my records stating "cashback starts" with loan 5633. I would normally enter when it ended too, but seem not to have done so on this occasion. I had assumed this was a general cashback incentive for all loans but then see I've specifically marked loans 5867 and 6036 with cashback and both of these were property. I've found 5726. My bid was made on 4 April 2014 and got a part at 14.8pc. It was downgraded on 6 January and defaulted on 26 March. No mention on the key information whether it had cashback though.

Thanks everyone. Yes it was a general cashback on loans of £75k or more, I just wasn't sure when it started. At least loan numbers came out in sequence back then!

AH, another query - I vaguely recall a loan back in Apr 2014 where FC screwed up the cashback announcement somehow, and it wound up paying 2.5% .. anyone provide any extra details, or convince me I am dreaming (IO ask be cause my transaction statement has some 50p cashback entries, which I can only figure to be the result of a 2.5% CB .. well 0.5% would work if I had been bidding £100 bids, but I wasn't).

It was a property loan - one of the first.

Ah yes I found it .. 5867, where FC messed up the repayment calculation, so awarded extra CB to compensate. Thanks.
