insert code here I realise that some AC loans take a while to drawdown but this one seems to be taking longer than most. Is there a particular problem with this one? It's frustrating having money tied up for 2 months just when AC have produced some other enticing propositions!
Oops, just read the forum rules about not identifying company - will try to edit title but may need help!

Email from AC Fri 8th Nov in response to my direct enquiry:
We have finalised substantial documentation with the other lenders involved with A***** E******. We are currently waiting to resolve one other outstanding matter. We expect resolution on Monday/Tuesday and draw-down by late next week.
We appreciate your patience.

Glad to hear that; I was beginning to lose hope.

Excellent.
Am I correct in assuming that I am not alone in factoring in a delay in drawdown in investment decisions? I balance the quicker than anticipated against the slower and the delays never look so bad.

Yes, I've come to realise that I should take more notice of these stagnant periods but surely it isn't easy to predict how long drawdown will take. Some loan details suggest the money will be taken by a certain time for a pressing need and that's good if it seems reasonable and doesn't suggest a dire need or a lack of planning. Otherwise, who knows how long it will take? All I can think of doing is transferring funds late and bidding late, although that would be a strategy for missing out on some sites.
